Courtesy visit by the renowned Angolan writer, Jorge Arrimar

Visit of the Angolan Writer, Jorge Arrimar, to the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Huíla.

Jorge Manuel de Abreu Arrimar was born in Chibia, Huíla (Angola), in 1953. In the 1970s, he co-founded the Huíla Cultural Group (Grucuhuíla) with friends. He studied at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Luanda, where he completed a degree in History and specialized in Documentary Sciences. He was a Portuguese teacher in the Azores, where he directed, alongside Carlos Loureiro, a literary supplement called Página africana
