The Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Huíla (ISCED-Huíla) received, last Wednesday, 7 December 2022, two professors from the University of Paraná for a guided visit led by the President of ISCED-Huíla, Professor Dr Helder Pedro Alicerse Baú.

The professors Syntia França and Glaucius França, both from the University of Paraná, visited several facilities of ISCED-Huíla. The visit was led by the President of ISCED-Huíla, Dr Helder Bahú, who began by presenting the Central Library, where the head of the area explained to the visitors how the work of cataloguing and lending books is carried out. They then visited the Research and Development Centres in Education (CIDE) and the Centre for Biodiversity Studies and Environmental Education. At CIDE, they were presented with the School Charter produced by this Centre and its partners. At CEBEA, they were able to appreciate the Herbarium section, which collects plant species, and the Mammalogy Museum, where several embalmed animal species are stored.

The visitors were delighted with the visit to the institution and, as a point of reference, spoke about the impact it had on them to see the newest Science and Technology Centre in Lubango.
