The Department of Languages and Human Sciences held the Seminar on Portuguese Language, Ethics, and Professional Deontology from September 27 to 29, 2022, in the Sala Magna, with the participation of teaching and administrative staff, as well as the academic community at large.
President Dr. Hélder Pedro Alicerces Baú opened the event, delivering the keynote and welcoming remarks to the participants. The President spoke on the importance of the Portuguese language in Angola as an instrument of great value for daily activities, teaching, communication, and document processing.
The seminar is a pedagogical intervention program aimed at training and contributing to the improvement of the quality of higher education, as well as promoting the standardization of administrative documentation by strengthening technical-scientific and linguistic-communicative skills.
The focus of the seminar was the teaching of the Portuguese Language, Ethics, and Professional Deontology, in order to guide the conduct of faculty and administrative staff within the framework of oral and written language.
