In the 2021–2022 academic year, ISCED-Huíla detected plagiarism in 130 of the 600 final-year projects submitted to obtain a bachelor’s degree.
Plagiarism is the improper appropriation of a work originally written by someone else, presenting oneself as its author.
The programmes most affected by this practice, considered unlawful, were those in the Social Sciences, where the most prevalent form of plagiarism was the improper appropriation of works by using full copies of texts without referencing the original author.
