The Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Huíla (ISCED-Huíla) awarded on Monday, April 11 of the current year, at the Nossa Sr.ª do Monte multipurpose pavilion, a total of 1,140 Bachelor’s degree holders and 134 Master’s degree holders in various courses and fields, thereby enabling a new reinforcement in the labor market.

At this prestigious event, His Excellency Vice-Governor Hélio de Almeida addressed the graduates, wishing them success in their professional lives with motivating words. He also stated that this represents a great gain for Huíla Province and congratulated the newly graduated bachelor’s and master’s degree holders on this great achievement.
The Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders received a welcoming message from the Director General of ISCED-Huíla, Full Professor José Mateus Luís Alexandre: “Today is a day of great rejoicing, a very special day for our Institution, as a new group of students will receive their undergraduate and postgraduate diplomas. I would like to extend to the graduates, on behalf of the entire ISCED community, my warmest congratulations. I thank your supervisors, family, and friends for the attention and unconditional support provided throughout your studies. I would also like to express my gratitude to the community and the Provincial Government of Huíla for their constant support in the development of ISCED-Huíla. The training of qualified professionals through our dedicated and excellent work represents the concrete response to the support we have received.”
The Director General further emphasized that the success of undergraduate and postgraduate programs is fundamental and represents the maximum potential of an Institution of Excellence, which is why the Institution is advancing in great strides in the promotion and delivery of outstanding programs.
The graduates elaborated through the voice of Master’s degree holder Rodmira Nanga: “To speak of our academic journey is to reflect on a long stage that initially represented a choice, but over time became a life project, a path marked by uncertainties and frustrations normal throughout the training process for obtaining a bachelor’s and master’s degree.”
The graduates expressed their gratitude to the General Directorate for providing essential conditions that
enabled the achievement of training objectives for each of the courses offered. They also suggested improvements in broadband Internet services with the aim of achieving success in the teaching and learning process at
ISCED-Huíla.
