Tundavala Awards – ISCED-Huíla lecturer wins in the Scientific Research category

Dr Hélder Pedro Alicerces Bahú, an anthropologist and lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences at ISCED-Huíla and Director of the Centre for Research in Education (CIDE), was declared the winner in the Scientific Research category at the awards gala “Tundavala Awards – 2021 Edition”, held on 3 July of the current year.

The Tundavala Awards (PTV) is an annual provincial competition aimed at recognising the best professionals in Huila’s arts sector and personalities (figures from civil society) who shape public opinion in the Province, with the purpose of creating an important space for artists from all fields as well as members of civil society, encouraging the population’s interest in art as a source of culture and leisure, promoting cultural exchange with a wide range of professionals and art forms in the country, valuing local culture and heritage, discovering new talents, and promoting Huíla’s natural and cultural heritage beyond its borders.
