José André Francisco (1954)
Assistant Professor, born in Kambambe, Cuanza Norte Province, with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, France. Graduated in Mathematics from Agostinho Neto University. Trained in Systems Analysis in Havana, Cuba. He also has advanced experience in Distance Learning.

Matondo Tomalela (1950)
Associate Professor, born in Damba, Uíge Province, PhD in Education, area of expertise: Science Teaching Methodology, from the Institute of Education and Psychology of the University of Minho. He also completed his degree in Chemistry Teaching at ISCED-Huíla. He served as Dean of the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Lubango of Agostinho Neto University, now ISCED-Huíla.

Matondo Fernandes (1955)
Associate Professor, born in Maquela do Zombo, Uíge Province, PhD in Language Sciences, specialisation: French Didactics, Foreign Language. With an enviable curriculum, he held positions at ISCED-Huíla and ISCED-Luanda, worked as a translator (French–Portuguese and Portuguese–French (...)), and taught the French Methodology course unit in the French Language Teaching programme.

Matondo Tomalela (1950)
Associate Professor, born in Damba, Uíge Province, PhD in Education, area of expertise: Science Teaching Methodology, from the Institute of Education and Psychology of the University of Minho. He also completed his degree in Chemistry Teaching at ISCED-Huíla. He served as Dean of the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Lubango of Agostinho Neto University, now ISCED-Huíla.

Yura Udumyan (1948–2023)
Full Professor, born in the Republic of Armenia, PhD in Philosophical Sciences and Professor of Philosophy. At ISCED-Huíla, he taught the following course units: Gnoseology, Introduction to Philosophy, Socio-Political Philosophy, and Sociology in the Philosophy Teaching programme.

Melquiades Kerlan (1933)
Assistant Professor, born in Calulo-Libolo, Cuanza Sul Province, trained in Education Sciences, specialisation in History, at the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Huíla. He worked in the Department of Social Sciences at ISCED-Huíla, teaching the course unit Introduction to the Study of Angolan Institutions.

Agostinho Chipi (1956–2020)
Associate Professor, born in Dala, Lunda Sul Province, graduated in Mathematics Teaching from the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Huíla and completed postgraduate studies in Mathematics Teaching at Agostinho Neto University. He specialised in engineering fields and completed the Systems Analyst course in Havana, Cuba. At ISCED-Huíla, he taught 14 course units in the Department of Exact and Natural Sciences.

Francisco Bento (1959–2019)
Associate Professor, born in Porto Amboim, Cuanza Sul Province, graduated in Mathematics Teaching from the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Huíla, and completed the Computer Systems Analysis course in Havana, Cuba. PhD in Mathematics Education from the Institute of Education and Psychology of the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal.

Domingos Pascoal (1948–2022)
Assistant Professor, born in Caungula, Lunda Norte Province, graduated in Education Sciences, specialisation in History, and holds a Master’s degree in African Studies. At ISCED-Huíla, he taught the following course units: Medieval History, History of Angola, and History of Africa in the Department of Social Sciences.

Júlio Domingos (1962–2020)
Assistant Professor, born in Malanje, Malanje Province, Master’s degree in Mathematics Teaching from the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Huíla, graduated in Mathematics from the “Henriques José Varona” Higher Pedagogical Institute in the Republic of Cuba.
